The third season of the Kannada Television Premier League (TPL) officially began on February 28. The tournament is taking place at the KSCA ground at Hubballi. To support the lives of artists and technicians, BR Sunil Kumar has been organising the TPL for the past two years.
After concluding the previous seasons successfully, the finale of the third season of TPL is set to take place on March 3. The Ashwasurya Riders, GLR Warriors and Rasu Warriors won their first match of the tournament. The jersey and trophy were unveiled at a prestigious hotel in Bangalore on February 17. A total of 10 teams are participating in the tournament. Each innings is composed of 12 overs. The players have been selected through a bidding process. Ragini Dwivedi has been appointed as the TPL ambassador. Actors Yogesh and Ravi Shankar Gowda are also participating in the tournament this year.
A total of 10 teams including Ashwasurya Riders, Golden Eagle, KKR Media House, Biotop Life Savior, AVR Tuskers, Rasu Warrior, Bajrangi Boys, The Bull Squad, Insane Cricket Team and GLR Warriors will be fighting for the trophy of TPL 3. A total of 170 celebrities will be participating in this tournament. H Venkatesh Reddy and Arvind Venkatesh Reddy of AVR Group are the title sponsors of the Kannada television Premier Leagues season 3. The Eac team is helmed by a celebrity captain.
Harsha CM Gowda is the captain of Ashwasurya Riders while Ranjith Kumar is the owner. GLR Warriors is helmed by Yogesh for which Rajesh is the owner. Similarly, the Insane Cricket Team captain is Ravi Shankar Gowda and the owner is Faizan Khan. The Bull Squad Team Captain is Sharath Padmanabh and the owner is Monish.
Bajrangi Boys Team is helmed by Sagar Biligowda and is owned by Swastik Arya. Rasu Warriors is jointly owned by Suguna and Raghu Bhatt and is captained by Dheekshith Shetty. Chethan Surya captains AVR Tuskers which is sponsored by the title sponsor Arvind Venkatesh Reddy. Arun Ram Gowda is the captain of KKR Media house while Lakshmi Kanth is the owner. Golden Eagle is owned by Vihaan and is led by Kushal Gowda.
