130 students display 52 projects at science fair in Vadodara | Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: Nearly 130 students from 23 schools of Vadodara showcased 52 projects on various scientific subjects at ‘Curioscope’, a science fairthat was organised by city-based Green Valley High School on Saturday. The young scientists from various schools were given a platform by the science expo which saw presence of over 2,000 people. The science fair was planned for the young minds to engage with dignitaries through a conversation programme.Dr M Patri, chairman of the Centre for Personnel Talent Management at Defence Research and Development Organisation, Delhi, Dr C M Ramchand, Dr Rameshchandra Kothari and Dr Rajamannar Thennati graced the occasion. tnn

Science City to be ready by next yr
The Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Science City project in Patna is nearing completion, with the building construction department floating a tender for an exhibition agency to prepare exhibits for the science museum’s galleries. The project aims to develop a scientific attitude among visitors, especially youngsters. The science city will feature interactive exhibits on subjects related to science, technology, space, and ecosystem. Inspired by international science museums, the exhibits will include 2D and 3D models, illustrations, touch-screens, and exhibits with light and sound effects. The science city is expected to open by the end of 2024.
