2 arrested in connection with the murder of Bajrang Dal worker in Jharkhand. Ranchi News – Times of India

Chaibasa: Two people have been arrested in the murder case Bajrang Dal worker in JharkhandPolice on Tuesday in Chakradharpur town. He said that on November 12, crude bombs were hurled at 35-year-old Kamaldev Giri at Bharat Bhawan Chowk, resulting in his death.
He said the murder was allegedly a fallout of a long-standing enmity between Giri and one Satish Pradhan over supremacy in the area.
Police said Pradhan, the main accused in the case, is yet to be arrested.
West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar said the two arrested have been identified as Gulzar Hussain, 25, and Mati-ur-Rehman, 27.
A 13-member special investigation team, constituted to probe the matter, arrested the two after identifying them with the help of CCTV footage of the area, he said.
The officer said that Pradhan and his seven accomplices attacked Giri when he was returning home from the railway station.
He said that raids are being conducted in several states in search of the remaining accused.
Police said a case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC including 302 (murder), Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act.
The murder triggered tension between the two communities in the area, following which prohibitory orders were imposed under Section 144 of the CrPC.
