2 killed, 3 injured in motorcycle collision in Jharkhand’s Palamu | Ranchi News – Times of India

MEDININAGAR: Two persons were killed and three others sustained injuries when two motorcycles collided head-on in Palamu district of Jharkhand on Tuesday morning, police said.
The accident occurred in Kokarsa village, about 195 km from Ranchi.
According to Patan police station in-charge Chandrasekhar Yadav, three individuals were on one bike, and two were on another traveling in the opposite direction.
“Both the motorcycles collided head-on and two persons out of three on a motorcycle were killed. Three others were injured. They were admitted to hospital,” he said.
The deceased were identified as Lakhan Bhuiyan, aged 22, and Jitu Bhuiyan, aged 23.
