Shimla: Three army personnel – two from Himachal Pradesh and one from Himachal Pradesh Jammu and Kashmir He died when the vehicle he was traveling in skidded off the road while patrolling in the forward area of ​​Machil sector of Kupwara area in Jammu and Kashmir late on Tuesday night.
The deceased soldiers have been identified as soldiers of 14 Dogra Regiment. Constable Amit Sharma (23) of Hamirpur district, Havildar Amrik Singh (39) of Mandwara village at Dhanari tehsil of Una district – both in Himachal Pradesh – and Naib Subedar Purushottam Kumar (43) is a resident of Majua Utmi village in Jammu.
According to the information received, the army vehicle was crossing a snow-covered road when it skidded and fell straight into a deep gorge, killing all three soldiers on the spot. The army has recovered the bodies of the three jawans.
