Ludhiana: Three MC employees were injured after being attacked by a few youths in a car at Piru Banda. MC worker Prem Jeet Singh said that his colleague Pradeep’s tractor grazed a car. He said that Pradeep was ready to pay fine but the youths assaulted him. Pradeep called another colleague, Pritpal Singh, who came with a few other employees. A woman rider, Divya Patil, was injured when a speeding car hit her scooter from behind on Majagavi-Peeranawadi Road in Belagavi. Divya, 23, a resident of Brahmanagar, was riding from Majagaon to Peeranawadi. After the collision, Divya was thrown into the air and her scooter damaged two cars in front. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Divya was rushed to a hospital and a case has been registered at Belagavi South traffic station.

Three youths on way to Mumbai after NY bash die in car crash
A group of four Mumbai youths, aged 20-24, were involved in a tragic car accident on the Mumbai-Agra highway in Igatpuri. Three of them were killed, and one suffered serious head injuries. The deceased were identified as Dhwaj Jain, Shikhar Yadava, and Rushabh Solanki. The surviving victim, Vansh Jain, is receiving treatment. The accident occurred when their luxury car rear-ended a truck. Police are investigating the incident, and it is believed that the car was being driven at a high speed. In a separate incident, five people were seriously injured in a collision between an SUV and a stationary truck on the Eastern Express Highway in Thane.

Guard injured in Imphal bomb attack dies
A 23-year-old village guard from Tumukhong village in Imphal East district, identified as Chingakham Lamyanba, died in hospital after being injured in a bomb attack. The incident was reported by K Sarojkumar Sharma. Despite undergoing emergency surgery, Lamyanba succumbed to his injuries at around 10.30 pm. Following his sacrifice for the motherland, Lamyanba’s father has decided to hand over his body to the people of Manipur. In response to the incident, Chief Minister N Biren Singh announced that a delegation will be sent to Delhi to discuss the matter with central leadership.
