RANCHI: Three women were killed in an accident as the pick-up van they were traveling in collided with a tractor after hitting the road median in Jharkhand’s Ranchi district on Monday morning.

The women were en route to a waterbody for Chaiti Chhath festival rituals, said Shashibhusan Chaudhary, the inspector of Ratu police station.
“The three women died on the spot,” he said.
