35 trains delayed in ECR due to fog. Patna News – Times of India

Patna: Despite slight improvement in the weather, normal rail traffic remained affected due to fog on Tundla-Kanpur-Prayagraj route of North Central Railway (NCR). At least 35 long-distance trains under the East Central Railway were delayed by three to four hours in reaching various stations in Bihar.ECR) Jurisdiction on Sundays.
According to Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of ECR Birendra KumarRailways is running more than 200 pairs of mail and express trains leaving different stations under ECR daily. He said that in the face of adverse conditions due to foggy conditions in entire NCR and many parts of Bihar during the last one month, Railways has taken all possible measures to run passenger trains with caution.
According to sources New Delhi-Rajgir Shramjeevi Express Train number 12392 reached Patna late by two hours on Sunday, while New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Terminal Tejas Rajdhani Express (12310) and New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Terminal Sampoorna Kranti Express (12394) were delayed by just one hour.
According to the CPRO, at least 40 mail and express trains left from their origin stations under ECR jurisdiction on Sunday.
