4 Of Family Die In Muv Accident | Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: Four people of a family died and seven others were injured when an MUV in which victims were travelling collided with a divider to evade a dog near Paddhar on the Bhuj-Bhachau highway in Kutch early on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Dinesh Soni (49), his brother Manoj (55), Manoj’s wife Geeta (46) and a relative Dilip Soni (62). Three of them died on the spot, while Geeta succumbed at the hospital.
The seven injured are under treatment at the GK General Hospital in Bhuj where one person is said to be critical.
HM Gohil, sub-inspector of Paddhar police station said, “The family was returning home after a trip to Dwarka, Somnath and Diu. The driver tried to save a dog that suddenly crossed the road and collided with the divider and overturned.”
The family was a resident of Madhapar town near Bhuj.
The family was engaged in the business of tours and travels and the MUV was owned by their agency. Dinesh and Manoj were running the travel business.
