407 new cases in 24 hours in Haryana: High alert in districts adjacent to Delhi; 1324 active patients, 7.28% recorded positivity rate

Corona infection is increasing rapidly in Haryana. In view of the worsening situation of infection, high alert has been sounded in all the districts adjacent to Delhi. The administration has been instructed to strictly follow the guidelines in these districts. Here in 24 hours the infection has been confirmed in 407 people. 1324 active patients have reached. The most worrying thing is that the positivity rate of the state has been recorded at 7.28%.

Three districts of Haryana remain hotspots in terms of corona infection. 206 new cases have been found in Gurugram. The situation is the same in Panchkula, where infection has been confirmed in 72 people in 24 hours. Infection has been found in 53 people in Faridabad. Apart from this, 2 in Hisar, 3 in Sonipat, 9 in Karnal, 3 in Ambala, 6 in Panipat, 3 in Sirsa, 13 in Rohtak, 10 in Yamunanagar, 7 in Kurukshetra, 1 in Bhiwani, 14 in Jhajjar and 1 new in Kaithal. Got the case.

Alert in districts adjoining Delhi
Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Haryana, Dr. G. Anupama said that more work should be done on testing, tracking, treatment, monitoring and vaccination in all the districts of the state and testing should be increased more. Apart from this, all the districts of the state adjoining Delhi need to be more vigilant and careful.

appeal to wear a mask
The Additional Chief Secretary said that it should be made mandatory to wear masks in crowded and high-risk places. Apart from this, people should also be made aware of prevention from Kovid like social distancing, frequent hand washing, wearing masks etc. He said that instructions should also be given regarding Covid-friendly behavior including wearing of masks by patients and health care workers in the hospital premises.

Instructions for conducting mock drill for two days
dr. Anupama said that mock drill should be done in all health facilities (public and private) on coming 10th and 11th April and the places with more cases in the districts should be identified. Instructing all the civil surgeons, he said that the districts where there is a shortage of Covid testing kits can buy Covid test kits by taking funds from the Chief Minister’s Free Treatment Fund and Health Welfare Committee.
