Dill Mill Gayye star Pankit Thakkar was not impressed with Huma Qureshi’s latest bold look.

Popular television star Pankit Thakkar, best known for his role in Dill Mill Gayye criticized Huma Qureshi’s recent look. Earlier this week, Huma wore a plunging body-fitting dress at the premiere of Sonakshi Sinha’s film Dahad. While the outfit took Huma out of her comfort zone, Pankit called her look ‘indecent’.

Speaking to Spotboye, Pankit Thakkar said, “As a celebrity in the Indian film industry, I have seen many fashion moments on and off the red carpet. Recently, two actresses caught my attention at a public event – Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha. While both the actresses looked fabulous in their respective styles, it was Huma Qureshi’s braless look that didn’t go down well with me, especially in a conservative society like India.

“On the contrary, Huma Qureshi’s brazen appearance showed excessive exposure of skin which was not in line with the stereotypical Indian ideology. This was indecent and inappropriate for a public event keeping in mind the moral values and decorum inherent in Indian culture. Wearing such clothes gives the impression of being rebellious and disrespectful towards traditional Indian values.

The actor praised Sonakshi’s look. “While it is important to embrace modern fashion, it is equally important to do so in a way that is respectful of Indian cultural norms. Sonakshi Sinha’s outfit at the event is a testimony to this and Huma Qureshi can take heed from this example to dress appropriately and be a role model that youngsters can look up to.

On the work front, Huma was last seen in Monica, O My Darling, playing the title role of Monica. He has Tarla based on the life of popular cook Tarla Dalal and Pooja Meri Jaan in the pipeline.
