DEHRADUN: A 24-year-old woman working in the housekeeping department of a 5-star hotel in Dehradun was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy living with her family, reports Kalyan Das,

Purohit said that after getting the information, the police reached the spot and caught the boy. “A medical examination has proved that the woman was raped,” he said.
Talking to TOI, the survivor said, “When I told the family what the boy did, instead of consoling me, they offered me money and treatment in a bigger hospital to pacify the matter. I told them that I will go to the police and their money is not needed.
Meanwhile, an officer with knowledge of the investigation said that the boy has confessed to the act. “The boy continued to cry during interrogation and said that he had made a mistake, which he now regrets,” the officer said.
