Pune: A massive fire broke out in a godown in Pune’s Gangadham area on Sunday.
The reason behind the fire is not yet known.

After getting the information, fire tenders reached the spot. Local people also gathered on the spot.
Pune Fire Department said, “Around 20 to 25 godowns of various materials were gutted in the fire. Some residents of the vicinity were evacuated.”
Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), Pune’s chief fire officer Devendra Potfode said, “The situation is under control. We are ensuring that the fire does not spread further. At least 24 fire tenders are at the spot.”
