Surat: In the by-election for ward number 20, both… Congress And AAP has announced its names Candidate on Thursday. After the death of BJP Municipal Councilor Jayesh Jariwala, one of the four posts in Khatodara-Majura-Sagrampura ward fell vacant.
Mukesh PasiawalaZari is a businessman contesting elections from Aam Aadmi Party. He filed his nomination at the District Collector’s office on Thursday. Shailesh Raika’s name has been announced from Congress and he can file nomination on Friday. Raika was earlier a municipal councilor from Anjana, while he lost the last municipal corporation election in February 2021 from Ward 20 on a Congress ticket. The BJP has not yet announced its candidate for the August 6 election.
