Abhishek Bachchan’s elder sister Shweta is celebrating her 50th birthday today.

Shweta Bachchan is celebrating her 50th birthday today. A doting daughter of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan, scores of fans have flooded social media with warm birthday greetings, and joining them is actor-brother Abhishek Bachchan. The Dhoom actor took a stroll down memory lane and shared a sweet video compiling some precious moments between the two.

In the compilation video featuring throwback photos of Abhishek-Shweta, one of the pictures showed the two of them as kids, while in another one they were seen celebrating some special moments together. The video is a timeline of the memories between the brother-sister duo.

Abhishek also penned a heartwarming note with the video that read, “Happy Birthday, Shwetdi!

I might not say it or show it, but you mean the world to me. I love you. .”

As soon as Jr. Bachchan shared the post on the photo-sharing platform, a number of comments started pouring in from his fans and followers. While one fan wrote, “Happy Birthday, Shweta Ji,”  another fan commented, “Such cute pics. Happy Birthday.” Farah Khan, too, took to the comments section and wrote, “Why do all brothers never say it or show it but?.” Bobby Deol also sent in his wishes.

Shweta Bachchan marked her debut as an author in 2018 with the book titled Paradise Towers. She has two children, Navya Nanda Naveli, who is an entrepreneur, and her son Agastya Nanda, who recently made his big Bollywood debut with The Archies, helmed by Zoya Akhtar.

Coming back to Abhishek Bachchan, he was last seen in Ghoomer. He will soon be seen in the highly anticipated film Gulab Jamun. Helmed by the acclaimed Anurag Kashyap, Bachchan is set to bring his acting prowess to the forefront once again. The film holds the promise of a compelling narrative, coupled with the distinctive story style that Kashyap is renowned for.
