Accusing Cm Of Deceit, All Of Bajrang Dal’s Hry Unit Resign | – Times of India

Jind: Irked over the action taken against members of Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) in connection with the Nuh violence, the entire Haryana unit of Bajrang Dal on Thursday tendered its resignation.
In a statement, the organisation also blamed Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Vijay, a prominent activist of the Haryana Bajrang Dal, of playing political games and sabotaging the organisation.
On behalf of over 3,000 active members in the state, Haryana state convener of Bajrang Dal, Bharat Bhushan, issued a public resignation letter at a press conference at Jat Dharamshala in Jind.
The Bajrang Dal members are specifically angry over the arrest of Monu Manesar and Bittu Bajrangi — among the key accused of the Nuh violence that erupted on July 31 — and alleged that they were being wrongly framed in the case, in a move they termed as “politically motivated.”
They claimed that over 250 members of the two right-wing organisations were on the radar of the police and alleged that innocent ground-level members were being “harassed” by the police and the top brass of the Bajrang Dal. In the letter, Bhushan also questioned the “political intentions” of Khattar, saying that “while on one hand, Khattar talks about ‘Sanatan Dharma’ and ‘gau raksha’ (protection of cows); on the other, the Haryana government and administration are harassing the Bajrang Dal members with false cases (sic).”
