Acer announces new Predator laptops and monitors: Price, availability and other features – Times of India

Acer has expanded its gaming portfolio with two new Predator Helios gaming laptops and some Predator gaming monitors. These new Predator Helios gaming laptops feature a new design with 16-inch and 18-inch display sizes, the latest 13th generation intel core mobile processor nvidia geforce RTX 40 Series GPU. The Predator X45 gaming monitor sports an 800R curved monitor. Meanwhile, both the Predator X45 and Predator X27U monitors offer OLED technology with 240Hz refresh rates.
Acer Predator Helios Gaming Laptop: Price and Availability
The 16-inch Predator Helios (PH16-71) gaming laptop will be available in North America in March starting at $1,649.99. Meanwhile, it will be available in Europe and China in February with price tags of 2,399 euros and 17,999 yuan respectively.
While the 18-inch Predator Helios (PH18-71) gaming laptop will be available in North America in April starting at $1,699. The laptop will be available in Europe and China in March and February for 2,499 euros and 20,999 yuan, respectively.

The Predator X45 gaming monitor will be available in North America and Europe in the second quarter of 2023 for $1,699 and 1,799 euros, respectively. Meanwhile, the gaming monitor will launch in China in the first quarter of 2023 starting at 12,999 yuan.
In addition, the Acer Predator X27U will be available in North America and Europe in Q2, 2023 for $1,099 and 1,099 euros, respectively. On the other hand, the gaming monitor will go on sale in China in the first quarter of 2023 with a price tag of 7,999 Yuan.

The 16-inch and 18-inch Predator Helios laptops feature a new design and upgraded thermals. Both these models include up to 13th Generation Intel Core i9 or i7 HX processors paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU (up to 165W MGP) and a host of great gaming features. Laptops also support ray tracing with DLSS, better performance with higher-quality frames

The 16-inch and 18-inch variants offer WQXGA (2560×1600 pixels) resolution at 165Hz or 240Hz (250Hz for the mini-LED panel). The display is powered by AUO AmLED technology that supports over 1000 nits peak brightness.
The laptops support 5th generation AeroBlade 3D metal fans and vectors for thermal management
heat pipe. Meanwhile, the laptops are also equipped with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, which include one HDMI 2.1, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a microSD card reader.

Both the latest Acer Predator gaming monitors sport OLED displays. The 45-inch Predator X45 is an 800R curved monitor that features narrow bezels and supports UWQHD (3440×1440 pixels) resolution. Meanwhile, the Predator X27U’s flat 27-inch panel supports WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) resolution. Both the monitors also support 1000 nits peak brightness and HDR10 capabilities. The gaming hardware offers 240Hz refresh rate, 0.01ms pixel response time, and amd freesync premium technology.
These latest monitors are also equipped with KVM switches that allow users to easily switch between desktop and laptop without changing keyboard and mouse. Apart from this, they also support a USB hub with USB Type-C port for other gadgets and peripherals. For connectivity, the monitors also support DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports. These monitors are TUV Rheinland iSafe certified and support both PC and consoles.
