Adah Sharma and Vidyut Jammwal will be seen together in Commando 4.
Adah Sharma recently spoke about her next venture Commando 4 with Vidyut Jammwal.
Adah Sharma is basking in the success of her latest film ‘The Kerala Story’ which has collected over Rs 200 crore in a matter of weeks. The actress who was earlier seen opposite Vidyut Jammwal in Vipul Amrutlal Shah produced Commando series is determined to continue the same with Commando 4. In her recent interview, Adah Sharma confirmed that she has already started shooting for the same.
During an interaction with Pinkvilla, Adah Sharma shared, “I am doing Commando with him (Vipul Shah) where I am playing Bhavana Reddy again. So for action fans, he still is. It will have more action and more comedy..the role remains the same as commando.
She added, “After that I don’t know, I hope they take me on for something else as well which is good. I think it’s really good of Vipul sir to trust someone who has played Bhavana Reddy.” Kerala story, because there I am killing all the goons and here I am getting beaten up.So to cast someone like that, not to typecast me like ‘she can only do action’. As an actor that feels great, if someone trusts you to do that.
The actress also promised that Commando 4 will be action-packed, “There’s a lot of action, and we again have Andy Long, Jackie Chan’s stunt director, doing the action (for Commando 4). So The action is going to be pretty cool too, and they’re using various objects as weapons. So nice action, I don’t think I need to say much anymore.”
The first ‘Commando’ film directed by Dilip Ghosh was theatrically released on 12 April 2013. It was followed by two sequels ‘Commando 2: The Black Money Trail’ in 2017 and ‘Commando 3’ in 2019.
As far as Adah Sharma’s recent film is concerned, The Kerala Story features Adah Sharma in the lead role along with actresses Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani. The film has so far earned over Rs 200 crore at the domestic box office.
