Adani Transmission: Adani Transmission Q4 net profit up 85% to Rs 439.60 crore – Times of India

New Delhi: Adani Transmission Ltd (ATL) reported an 85.48 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 439.60 crore during the March FY23 quarter, helped by higher income.
The company said in a regulatory filing on Monday that it had posted a net profit of Rs 237 crore during the January-March quarter of 2021-22 financial year (FY).
The company’s total income rose to Rs 3,494.84 crore from Rs 3,165.35 crore in the year-ago quarter.
For the full FY23, the net profit increased to Rs 1,280.60 crore from Rs 1,235.75 crore recorded in FY22.
Total income for the full FY stood at Rs 13,840.46 crore as against Rs 11,861.47 crore in FY22.

He further added that the company is accelerating the transition to a sustainable and reliable grid and ensuring continuous and reliable power supply to all regions through its assets in India. The focus on cashflow generation, operational excellence and governance remains strong.
The company said its transmission business revenue growth in the fourth quarter was helped by an increase in distribution revenue due to newly-commissioned lines and continued growth in energy demand.
During the quarter, transmission EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) grew by 9 per cent to Rs 872 crore, while distribution EBITDA grew by 43 per cent to Rs 834 crore.
“Q4 PAT (profit after tax) in transmission business grew 11 per cent to Rs 221 crore and distribution PAT grew 478 per cent year-on-year at Rs 218 crore, aided by the mid-term true-up order by the regulator,” it said.
The company operated 609 ckm (circuit kilometres) in Q4FY23 and maintained system availability at 99.68 per cent.
ATL is the largest private transmission company in the country with a presence in 14 states and a cumulative transmission network of 19,779 Ckm, of which 15,371 Ckm are in operation and 4,408 Ckm are under various stages of construction.
