Adani Transmission net profit up nearly 73% to Rs 478 crore in third quarter – Times of India

New Delhi: Adani Transmission Ltd (ATL) on Monday reported a nearly 73 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 478 crore for the December quarter of 2022-23 on the back of one-time profit and higher revenue.
The consolidated net profit of the company for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 was Rs 277 crore.
Consolidated revenue in the third quarter of FY 2022-23 rose to Rs 3,037 crore from Rs 2,623 crore in the same period a year ago.
Consolidated PAT registered a strong jump of 73 per cent, aided by one-time income of Rs 240 crore from a regulatory order, said a company statement.
Anil Sardana, MD, Adani Transmission, said, “ATL’s growth trajectory remains firm despite the challenging macroeconomic environment. Our pipeline of projects and recently commissioned assets will further strengthen our pan-India presence and make us the largest private sector telecom operator in India. strengthen our position as a leading transmission and distribution company.”
Adani Transmission is the country’s largest private transmission company with a presence in 13 states of India and a cumulative transmission network of 18,795 ckm (circuit kilometres), of which 15,371 ckm are commissioned and 3,424 ckm are under various stages of construction.
It also operates a distribution business, serving over 12 million consumers in the Mumbai and Mundra SEZs.
ATL scrip closed 10 per cent down at Rs 1,261.40 on the BSE.
