Adipurush Controversy: Makers further reduce ticket prices of Prabhas’ film amid ban and massive drop at box office

Adipurush Row: Producer of Prabhas and critic i say The starrer has been receiving criticism for the film’s VFX as well as dialogues. Adipurush, a retelling of Ramayana, opened to high spirits in several theaters with huge crowds. However, it became a victim of many controversies and fans, due to which it saw a huge drop in its box office figures. With this, Adipurush’s production banner, T-Series announced that the audience can now watch the film at a discounted price of Rs 150. Now, as per the latest update, the price of the film has been reduced further.

Adipurush has reduced the ticket prices to Rs 112. This offer will start from Monday (June 26). The announcement from T-Series’ official Instagram handle read, “Bear witness to the epic saga. Book your tickets starting at just Rs.112/-* and experience the grand world of Adipurush, offer starts tomorrow! #JayShriRam ” It also has a tagline which states that Adipurush will be screened with edited and changed dialogues.

Changed dialogues of Adipurush

After massive trolling and backlash on social media, the makers of Adipurush changed the dialogues of the film, leading to an outcry from the audience. Director Om Raut and writer Manoj Muntashir also received death threats from the Kshatriya Karni Sena at a press conference held in Madhya Pradesh.

In the scene, the character of Hanuman had lines like: ‘Kapada tere baap ka toh jalegi bhi tere baap ki’. It is now changed to, ‘Kapda teri Lanka ka… toh jalegi bhi teri Lanka’. Another dialogue is “Tu andar kaise ghusa… tu jaanta bhi hai kaun hoon main” has been changed to “Tum andar kaise ghuse… tum jaante bhi ho kaun hoon main.”
