A special fan screening of Adipurush trailer took place in Hyderabad on Monday. It was attended by Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and director Om Raut.
Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Om Raut treated selected fans to an exclusive fan preview of the trailer of Adipurush and it was as elaborate as it could get. The lead cast and director joined a room full of excited fans to watch the new trailer of the film held in Hyderabad on Monday. Mere Raut shared a glimpse of the special gathering on Twitter and it turned out to be a fun affair.
Sanon and Prabhas were greeted with shouts and applause in the video. Sitting behind a sea of fans, Prabhas and Sanon were seen taking in all the love being shown by the fans. Once the trailer started playing, Sanon and Prabhas were seen whispering messages to each other while watching the scenes playing in the trailer. As soon as the trailer preview ended, fans started clapping for the pair and the film.
At a certain point, Om Raut was seen chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ while the audience present at the screening joined him. Watch the video below:
The trailer released today, 9th May in Mumbai. The new trailer comes months after the makers released the first teaser and it failed to impress the audience.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Adipurush will have its world premiere on June 13 at the Tribeca Festival in New York, which is taking place from June 7-18. This means that Adipurush will have its world premiere before its release in India, as it is scheduled to hit the theaters in India on June 16. The film was initially scheduled to hit the theaters on August 11, 2022, but the release date was pushed forward. By January 12, 2023. Adipurush is now set to hit the screens on June 16, 2023 in 3D.
Besides Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, Adipurush also stars Sunny Singh as Shesh, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang, and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist Lankesh.
