Ahmedabad: A 25-year-old woman Narampura A 40-year-old woman resident of Chandlodia was accused of molestation and assault following an argument over parking outside a cafe in Shastri Nagar on Monday.
Police identified the accused on the basis of the registration number of the motorcycle Pushpak Suthar40, resident of Taranga Hill Society At Arjun Ashram Road, Chandlodia.
According to the Naranpura police, the complainant, an advocate, along with her mother, had gone to the cafe in a commercial complex. Shastri Nagar, While she was trying to park her car outside the building, a man parked his motorcycle in the space.
Unable to park his vehicle, the complainant asked the person to remove his vehicle. An officer said, “She alleged that he abused her, pulled her out of the car and hit her. She also alleged that he molested her.”
The woman called up the police control room, after which a team from Naranpura went to the spot and registered an FIR against the accused for assault, molestation and using abusive words. Naranpura police has arrested the accused and started investigation.
