The data indicates that consumer interest in AI photo apps has fallen as fast as it has risen. In the last few months AI-powered photo apps were going viral on both app Store and Google Play Store. The company claims that it analyzed the top AI photo apps worldwide, tracking both their download growth and in-app consumer spending.

The company found that this group of AI apps first started to take off around Thanksgiving, then reached their peak in terms of both downloads and in-app purchases around mid-December. As of February 13, these apps have seen approximately 952,000 combined downloads and approximately $507,000 in consumer spending, as the numbers continue to decline.
