All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop the screening of Radiance and Kriti Sanon-starrerAdipurush‘ director About Routh,
On Tuesday, the AICWA wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the subject “Requesting an immediate ban on Adipurush Movie – This is not our Ramayana.”
The letter reads: “All Indian Cine Workers Association has demanded a ban on the screening of the film Adipurush, the script and dialogues of this film are clearly defaming the image of Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman. Adipurush Movie Hindus and Hurting the religious sentiments of Sanatan Dharma.”
The letter states that Lord Rama is God for all in India, irrespective of religion.
“The film depicts Lord Ram and even Ravana, who looks like a video game character, whose dialogues hurt every Indian across the country and the world.”
AICWA requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to “order to stop the screening of this film and immediately ban Adipurush screening in theaters and OT platforms in future.”
He also said that he needs an FIR against the director and writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
“We need an FIR against the director (Om Raut), writer (Manoj Muntashir Shukla) and producers of the film, who have hurt Hindu sentiments and tarnished the image of our Lord Shri Ram, Maa Sita and Ramsevak Lord Hanuman. “
The letter also states that actors “Prabhas, critic i say And Saif Ali Khan Should not have been a part of such a shameful film ever made in the history of Indian cinema, Adipurush is a complete waste of our faith in Shri Ram and Ramayana.”
The letter was from Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, founder and president of the All Indian Cine Workers Association.
