As two more locations in Telangana get Airtel 5G, the state’s count has gone up to three. Its capital Hyderabad was the first city to receive the network upgrade for Airtel users.
Airtel 5G coverage in Warangal and Karimnagar
airtel 5g Plus service is operational at below mentioned locations.
Warangal: Hanumakonda, Akshoka Hotel, Kazipet Railway Station, Reddy Colony, Kasi Bugga, Mayamnagar, Girmanjipar and Revenue Colony.
Karimnagar: Sircilla Road, Adarsh Nagar, Chaitanyapuri, Saraswati Nagar, Sitarampur, Saleh Nagar and Raikurti.
Using Airtel 5G Plus in 5G enabled locations
Airtel customers with 5G-compatible phones can start using the service immediately in these locations. There’s no special SIM or extra payment to access 5G speeds.
Users who are not sure about the 5G support of their phone can check it through the Airtel Thanks app. The app will show an ‘Airtel 5G Plus’ banner on the main screen and prompt the user to check whether the phone is configured for 5G.
Airtel 5G rollout reaches 60+ cities across India
With another pair of cities covered, Airtel’s 5G rollout now reaches a total of 67 Indian cities. Apart from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh also saw 7 of its cities getting 5G access on the same day.
