The AAP said NCP MLA Mushrif, against whom the Enforcement Directorate was probing, and Chhagan Bhujbal, who was allegedly involved in the Maharashtra Sadan scam, have been made ministers.

The AAP on Tuesday criticized the BJP over NCP MLAs joining the Eknath Shinde government in Maharashtra, terming it as evidence of “misuse” of investigative agencies by the Center to break opposition parties.

AAP’s national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said “this is the real face of the BJP” and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop talking about morality, honesty and fight against corruption.

“BJP leader Kirit Somaya, who was pressing for Mushrif’s arrest in connection with the alleged Rs 100 crore scam, is in hiding today,” the AAP spokesperson said.

Referring to several other leaders, including Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal Shuvendu Adhikari and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, he claimed that they faced corruption charges before joining the BJP.
