During a media interaction, Akshay was asked about the clash with Aamir’s film. Both the films are releasing during the Independence Day weekend.
Responding to the same, Akshay told the media, “It’s not a confrontation. It’s about coming up with good films. And, it’s a big day. Due to COVID-19, many films didn’t release and some Still waiting for the release date. So, it is only natural that more films will release together. I hope both the films do well.”
The trailer of Aamir and Kareena’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ was also released recently and it has been well-liked by the audience. It is the official remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.
Meanwhile, Akshay has an interesting lineup of films ahead. He will next be seen in ‘Ram Setu’ opposite Nushrat Bharucha Jacqueline Fernandez, he also has ‘cinderella‘ and ‘OMG 2’. He will also make his OTT debut soon.
