Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt launched the fourth song from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani in Kolkata.
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani’s love story is just a few days away from its release. Being a Karan Johar-directed film, cine-goers are already looking forward to a grand visual and musical extravaganza, especially with the three songs released by the makers so far and some exciting promos. The duo is currently on a promotional tour across India and their most recent stop was City of Joy, Kolkata. Needless to say, Ranveer and Alia kicked off their promotions in the city with a unique video.
A clip shared by Dharma Productions through their social media handles captures the spirit of Kolkata very well. It featured Ranveer and Alia standing in the middle of a bunch of iconic Kolkata yellow taxis, lined up in the shape of a heart. They also had a welcome message behind them which read, “Welcome to Kolkata Rocky and Rani.” The clip was accompanied by his newly released song ‘Dhindora Baaje Re’ playing in the background. The post caption read, “#Kolkata – You have our ❤️! #Dhindorabajere of your love and it’s echoing all around!”

Earlier in the day, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt launched their song in the city. He also addressed a press conference where Alia Bhatt greeted the audience in Bengali, “Nomoshkar Kolkata! Kemon acho shobai? Tomader Shobai ke onek dhonnobad ekhane ashar jonne. Ami ajke khub khub khub aapte aur asha kori amar motan tomader o dhindora baje re gaan ta bhalo lagbe,” the actress was quoted as saying by ETimes.
While Alia looked drop dead gorgeous in a red and pink saree, Ranveer Singh looked dapper in a white shirt and black striped pants and a pair of dark glasses.

Meanwhile, the team of Rocky and Rani’s love story is all set to launch the fourth song of their album Dhindhora Baje Re. Karan recently shared a glimpse of the song on his Instagram account. During the festive season, Ranveer and Alia are dancing their hearts out dressed in deep red traditional outfits.
The other three songs, Tum Kya Miley, Kya Jhumka?, and They Kamleya have been loved by the fans and are viral on the internet. Pritam composed the album for the film, which is co-produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions. It also marks the return of Karan Johar to direction. Apart from Ranveer and Alia, the film also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. Tota Roy Chowdhury, Ronit Roy, Saswata Chatterjee, and other famous actors.
