Alia Bhatt has been shooting for her next movie ‘Jigra‘ for a while. The actress has also co-produced the film along with Karan Johar. The film is directed by Vasan Bala. It was an emotional moment for Alia and life has come a full circle as she started her career with Karan’s production house and eventually is co-producing a movie with him. She had expressed that in a note as she announced ‘Jigra’ and said, “Presenting #Jigra, directed by the extremely talented @vasanbala and produced by @dharmamovies & @eternalsunshineproduction.From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, in many ways, it feels like coming full circle from where I started. Now the actress has announced that the film has wrapped up. She revealed that it also stars Vedang Raina alongside her. Raina was last seen in ‘The Archies’. Vedang had shared screen space with Khushi Kapoor in ‘The Archies’ and they’re rumoured to be dating. Khushi had responded to these rumours and said that she would like to say that dialogue from ‘Om Shanti Om’, “Om and I are just good friends.” Khushi dropped hearts on Alia’s post.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor also showered love. Alia is seen in an all new short hair look for the film and fans are waiting for what it has in store. ‘JIGRA’ is set to release on September 27, 2024.
