After the start of the Met Gala 2023, Alia Bhatt has secured an incredible deal with Italian luxury fashion house Gucci. According to a report, the brand today announced her as its first Indian global ambassador. The actress will debut as the brand’s latest global ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 show in Seoul next week. It will take place at Gyeongbokgung Palace in the city. The show will mark the completion of 25 years of the fashion house in the country.
Alia, who has proved her mettle as an actress and producer, was on Thursday announced as the global ambassador of Gucci. According to the report of Women’s Wear Daily (WWD). The actress recently wore a Gucci shirt with a custom-made blazer by the label Kanika Goyal.
Alia Bhatt’s Met Gala debut
The actress made her debut at the Met Gala 2023 in a white pearl-studded dress. She displayed major princess vibes in an elaborate gown designed by Prabal Gurung. Her outfit was inspired by supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look. To complete the look, she wore matching gloves and earrings. Alia looks glamorous in her hair pulled back with a middle parting.
The actress shared a video on her social media which featured their BTS moments before heading to the fashion event. Alia’s post read, “Alia Bhatt turned to designer @PrabalGurung for her #MetGala debut, for which even the superstar was a little nervous. However, her wobbly knees were nowhere to be seen as she hit the carpet in this glamorous look.” The all-white outfit elegantly fit into the dress code of the night “in honor of Karl”.
“Featuring a dramatic sheer train and hundreds (if not thousands) of pearl beads, the look served pure princess bride—which was certainly a recurring theme in Lagerfeld’s decades-spanning catalog of work. Another Nice touch? She wore a fingerless glove, which was one of Lagerfeld’s favorite accessories (though he wore two).
