SRINAGAR: The Amarnath Travel Was Suspended due to bad friday Season As Rain lashed many parts of Kashmirofficials said.
He informed that travel has been suspended on both the Baltal and Pahalgam routes.
“Yatra has been suspended and no pilgrim is being allowed to proceed towards the holy cave shrine this morning,” officials said.

The pilgrimage had to be temporarily suspended due to heavy rains that started early Friday, he said.

The pilgrims have been stopped at Baltal and Nunwan base camps.
Officials said the yatra would resume as soon as the weather improves.

As many as 17,202 pilgrims paid obeisance at the holy cave shrine on Thursday, taking the total number of devotees who have so far visited the natural ice linga in the South Kashmir Himalayas to 84,768.
