Shiv Sena Controversy: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday reacted to the decision taken by the Election Commission and claimed that the constitutional body made a distinction between truth and falsehood by recognizing the Eknath Shinde-led faction as the ‘real’ Shiv Sena. Is.

Interestingly, in a major blow to former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday, the Election Commission allotted the name ‘Shiv Sena’ and its election symbol ‘bow and arrow’ to the group led by CM Eknath Shinde.

This is the first time that the Thackeray family has lost control of the party founded by Balasaheb Thackeray in 1966 on the principles of justice for the sons of the soil.

Meanwhile, addressing a program in Pune, he said, “The Election Commission yesterday established the difference between truth and falsehood. The formula of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ became important yesterday.”

Thackeray called CM Shinde a ‘thief’

Notably, earlier today, Thackeray held a meeting with his party leaders, where he called Shinde a “thief” who allegedly stole his party’s symbol. During the meeting, after the dramatic setback, Thackeray insisted that “the game has now begun” and threatened the current government to pull up its socks.

Thackeray’s aide said Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leaders, deputy leaders, elected representatives and spokespersons attended the meeting at Thackeray’s residence ‘Matoshree’ in suburban Bandra in the afternoon.

“Judges will get benefits after retirement”

Launching a scathing attack on the Election Commission and the judge who gave a ‘victory’ for Shinde, Thackeray alleged that both the EC and the judge gave a verdict in favor of the present government in return for post-retirement benefits. “The judge has given a verdict in favor of Shinde to become the governor of any state like other judges,” Thackeray said.

He declared the situation a victory for the Shiv Sena as the Bharatiya Janata Party got to use its party name and symbol to preach to the common people. He ensured that the BJP would try to get his “torch logo”.
