Tirupati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah Virtually laid the foundation stone of the country’s tallest building on Sunday idol of lord ram to be installed on Mantralayam in Andhra Pradesh Nandyal district,

The 108-feet tall panchaloha statue of Lord Ram along with the Ram temple will be set up by the Jai Shri Ram Foundation at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore.
The Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt at Mantralayam has generously provided a 10-acre plot of land for the construction of the Ram temple and installation of the iconic idol.

Renowned Indian sculptor Ram Vanji Sutar, who designed the world’s tallest statue – the Statue of Unity at a height of 182 meters near Kevadiya in Gujarat, has been entrusted with the responsibility of designing and installing the statue of Rama at Mantralayam.
The Union Home Minister tweeted, “Layed the foundation stone of 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shri Ramchandraji to be built by Shri Raghavendra Swami Math in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The colossal statue of Lord Rama, which will be the tallest in India, will infuse the city with a sense of devotion, while also inspiring people to remain unwavering in their commitment to our rich and timeless civilizational values.”
Sri Subudendra Teertha Swami, priest of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, representatives of Jai Sri Ram Foundation and a large number of devotees participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony held at Mantralayam on Sunday.
