Amitabh Bachchan stresses on the importance of ‘family bond’ as Shweta celebrates her 50th birthday at Prateeksha | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Amidst several reports regarding his health, Amitabh Bachchan kept his date with fans and greeted them for ‘Sunday darshan’ outside his Juhu bungalow Jalsa. He later took to his blog to share pictures from the meeting and also penned a note about his daughter, Shweta‘s 50th birthday.
After terming news about his hospitalisation as ‘fake’, the veteran star took a dig at progress reports in his blog post and shared, “A day filled with the love of family and the greetings and the hilarity of the ‘progress reports’ ..

..Birthdays galore .. Shweta , the first born, and Nikhil her husband .. within a day of each other and the bringing in of the GOLDEN age – 50 years .. !”
“At Prateeksha , she was brought to the home , our first home of our own, when she was barely 2, and Abhishek a few months old .. and today to see them celebrate the day in the same home on the same table and surroundings .. LIFE IS A WONDER ..Children and grandchildren all together ..Family is the greatest bond .. of love togetherness and the joys of each other .. may it ever be in lasting,” penned Amitabh Bachchan.
Looking ahead, Bachchan’s upcoming projects include the highly anticipated ‘Kalki AD 2898’. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this epic sci-fi drama stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas in lead roles. Apart from this, Big B has also reunited with Rajinikanth for ‘Thalaivar 170’.
