To send a message without typing, you’ll first need to check if you have voice commands and Google Assistant enabled on your phone. To do this, follow the given steps:

  1. Open google app on your Android smartphone.
  2. click on your profile on the top right corner.
  3. go for Adjustment , google assistant,
  4. Click “hey google and voice match.” If it is turned off, turn it on.
  5. Now follow the on-screen steps to set up Google Assistant on your smartphone.
  6. Once done, you can open Google Assistant, and ask it to send a message to any contact.

For example, you can ask your Assistant to “send a message to News18 on WhatsApp.” To this, Assistant will reply “Okay, what’s the message,” and then you can speak to send your message to your WhatsApp contact. If the number isn’t on WhatsApp, Google Assistant will tell you “No WhatsApp contacts found.”

Sending messages on WhatsApp is pretty much the same for iPhone users. Instead of Google Assistant, you have to ask Siri to do the same thing. But before you start, head over to Settings to see if your Siri and Voice commands are active.

  1. Open Adjustment On your iPhone, then go to Siri and Search.
  2. Now, you can activate Siri with your voice either by turning on Listen for “Hey Siri” Or you can activate Siri with a single button.
  3. Once you have activated Voice Commands, scroll down the screen and search for WhatsApp.
  4. enable “Use with Ask Siri“On WhatsApp.

Now, you can just call Siri and give her voice commands to send WhatsApp messages. Siri will also give you a preview of the message before sending it, and ask at the end if you’re ready to send the message. Say “yes” and the message will be sent.
