Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and Jennie Kim, a member of South Korean all-girl group BLACKPINK, were among the most influential figures to grace the Cannes Film Festival. Jennie and Anushka turned heads on the Cannes 2023 red carpet. While Jenny traveled to Cannes to join the cast of The Idol for the premiere, Anushka represented L’Oreal India on the red carpet. Reportedly global pop star Jennie’s EMV (Earned Media Value) was $35.2 million, while Anushka Sharma’s was $17.9 million. These two beat out Blackpink’s Rose, whose EMV was $17.1 million wearing Saint Laurent, and Blackpink’s Lisa with CELINE came in fourth with an EMV of $14.7 million. Anushka made her debut in Cannes this year. She stepped out wearing a white sheath dress with a ruffled bodice that resembled a floral design. Anushka opted for an updo hairstyle and kept her makeup and accessories minimal to let the gown take center stage. On the second-to-last day she was joined by fellow L’Oreal ambassadors Eva Longoria and Andie MacDowell in Cannes. Together, they walked the red carpet to attend the premiere of The Old Oak.
