Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav made a big statement on Tuesday. He said that now Apple’s iPhone is being made in India and its biggest factory is coming up near Bangalore. It is a matter of happiness that our sisters from the tribal community will also manufacture iPhone in India.

The Union minister said that Apple’s largest iPhone manufacturing unit in India is being set up at Hosur near Bengaluru. About 60,000 people will get employment in this. Six thousand tribal women living around Ranchi and Hazaribagh have also been trained to make iPhones.

Ashwini Vaishnav said that the iPhone is now being made in India. 60,000 people will be able to work simultaneously in the unit set up in Hosur. The first 6,000 of these employees are our tribal sisters from places around Ranchi and Hazaribagh.
