Apple today launched a new sports app called Apple Sports that provides iPhone users with real-time scores, stats, and betting odds for major professional and college leagues. The free app, available now in the App Store in the US, Canada, and the UK, enables fans to easily follow their favourite teams and leagues.

Users can customise scoreboards, view play-by-play details, check lineups and stats, and even jump to live game streams in compatible apps through the Apple Sports app. Apple Sports currently supports the NBA, NHL, MLS, Premier League, LaLiga, and NCAA basketball, among other leagues. Upcoming support will be added for MLB, NFL, NCAA football, NWSL and WNBA when their seasons begin.

Apple Sports is available starting today as a free download from the iOS App Store in the US, Canada and UK. It requires iOS 17.2 or later. Additional language support is included where available.
