Arjun Kapoor penned a heartfelt note for his late mother Archana Shourie’s 60th birthday.

Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram on Saturday, January 3 to share a post on his late mother’s 60th birthday. Arjun’s mother, Archana Shourie, passed away in March 2021 due to multiple organ failure. She battled with cancer and hypertension and died on March 25, 2021. Arjun shared a sweet photo of Archana smiling as she tuned her sitar.

Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Happy Birthday to our everything ❤️ She would have been sweet 60 today and would have been rocking smiling and spreading happiness all around… Love u Maa till we meet again like u always say Rab Rakha.” Check out his post here:

Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun Kapoor has been reportedly roped in for No Entry 2 with Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “While Anees Bazmee is on board No Entry 2 as a writer and director, the makers have got together Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh to lead the film. The trio is supremely excited about the script and have given their nod to the story.”

“No Entry 2 is a hilarious script that has got every single person excited. The No Entry sequel will go on floors in December 2024 and be a big theatrical release in 2025, marking 20 years of the first part,” the source added.

The original film was released in 2005 with Anees Bazmee as the director and Boney Kapoor as the producer. The three leading men in No Entry were Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan and Anil Kapoor. Over the years, the film became one of the most popular comedy films in Bollywood.
