Jind: AAP’s national convenor and Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday made an emotional pitch for support as he launched the party’s campaign for the 2024 parliamentary and assembly polls in Haryana with a roadshow in Jind district.
Seeking to build his rapport with the people of Jind, the Punjab CM said: “I am from Sangrur, just an hour away from the region. Jind was the capital of my district before independence. Whenever I come to Jind, I feel like in my hometown because everything is same in both the areas. of Haryana Red Arvind Kejriwal is the son of this soil, and he brought remarkable changes in education and health. The corrupt are afraid of him. Vote for him to reform politics.”
Mann claimed that there is no shortage of electricity in Punjab and about 88% of the population does not get bills.
Kejriwal said that Haryana is his birthplace and Delhi is his workplace. “All here are my relatives (relatives). The people present in this roadshow are my brothers, uncles and maternal uncles and I feel at home in Haryana. I promise to improve Haryana government run schools and even private schools.
Over 10,000 people from Haryana joined the Tiranga Yatra, and Kejriwal made several election promises such as 24-hour free electricity, free health treatment in major private hospitals and better education, besides improving the infrastructure of government-run schools.
Haryana CM targeted Manohar Lal Khattar, Kejriwal said: “I saw a video in which a farmer is asking him for 8 to 12 hours of electricity and Khattar Sahab says it is not possible. When your government will be formed in Haryana, people will get 24 hours free electricity from the first day.
