Hubli: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo ahead of assembly elections Arvind Kejriwal will visit Karnataka On March 4 and in Davanagere will administer the oath to the newly elected circle and block level office bearers of the party.
AAP’s working president Ravichandra Nerabenchi said on Tuesday that the top leadership is focusing on building the party organisation. “Established political parties have failed to meet the expectations of the people as far as progress in health and education is concerned in Karnataka. AAP will present an alternative idea on the lines of the Delhi Model of Governance.
Nerabenchi said the AAP’s manifesto will focus on women, farmers, laborers and government employees and the party is also considering district-specific manifestos as each district has different aspirations and demands. “The party will also bring back the old pension scheme for government employees if voted to power,” he said.
