As ‘Pathan’ crosses 500 crore worldwide, Shah Rukh Khan hints about sequel – Times of India

Shahrukh Khan ‘Pathan’ made a bang in the theaters and the film is doing exceptionally well at the box office. The Hindi version of the film collected up to Rs 533 crore in its first weekend of five days.

To celebrate the success of the film, the cast met the media and fielded questions about ‘Pathan’. Talking about the film director Siddharth Anand said, “Like every filmmaker, I once had a desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan. I think you have to earn Shah Rukh Khan’s film, I think it was my journey that I completed and then I got the gift of directing Shah Rukh Khan. Pathan has come, hit has happened. After that what will we make?

Responding to the demand for a sequel to the film, Shah Rukh said, “It’s a big day for us, my family. We haven’t experienced this happiness in a while. Whenever he (Siddharth Anand) wants to I will do Pathan 2, I will do it. If they want to make a sequel, it will be an honor for me to do it.
