Ashish Vidyarti surprised everyone after he announced his second marriage with entrepreneur Rupali Baruah on May 25.

Ashish Vidyarti has been making headlines ever since he surprised everyone with his second marriage at the age of 57. The actor tied the knot with entrepreneur Rupali Baruah in an intimate ceremony on Thursday, May 25. A day after this, his ex-wife, Peelu Vidyarthi spoke about their separation and mentioned how ‘some cannot stand it when two people do it peacefully and beautifully’.

Peelu further urges everyone to be ‘kind’ and clarifies that they are still friends with each other. “For Rupali, I would say again that it is a rare thing to find someone. People are commenting because they cannot accept leniency. I am a very transparent person. My fans, followers and people who know me know that I am the same person inside and out. I haven’t been harassed. Ashish met Rupali after our decision. He is not a bad person. He is a good boy. Can’t we expect a little kindness from people? Please bless us for our individual paths. We are friends and will always be so,” he told Hindustan Times.

Even though Ashish and Peelu separate in 2021, Peelu reveals that she will not change her surname. “These things are done when you have a point to prove. I have nothing to prove. Look what I was and what I am now. What’s a name got to do with it? It’s just a name Yes. I will remain a yellow student.”

Earlier today, Ashish also released a video statement in which he talked about separation from Peelu. He mentioned that even though he had come a long way, he saw the future differently. “If we can resolve our differences then we have tried our best. We saw that differences can be resolved but it will happen in a way that one of us imposes on the other. And he will gladly take away. And, happiness is all we want, isn’t it? So at that time both of us sat together and said that we will do it amicably.”
