Ashok Gehlot breaks silence on dispute with Sachin Pilot, ‘If I say something’

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has described his ongoing feud with rival Sachin Pilot as an “internal matter” within the Congress party. However, he reaffirmed his readiness to take action against former chief minister and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje, a demand repeated by Sachin Pilot, who accused the government of being soft on Raje on corruption charges.

“Recently, in Delhi, we talked to each other, monitored Rahul GandhiCongress president Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal, and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa,” Mr Gehlot said in an interview with NDTV.

“I don’t want to talk about it right now. Once we’ve sat down to talk, if I say anything now it could be misunderstood,” he said, requesting to “close the subject”. .

Meanwhile, on Sachin Pilot’s claim that he is soft on Vasundhara Raje, he said, “All the allegations we have against her (Ms Raje) have been taken to the courts. I will take action, if Somebody, even a nobody, can point that out.” What have we left pending.”

Meanwhile, clarifying his remarks about Raje last month, he further said, “Kailash Meghwal raised the topic of how I once refused to help bring down the BJP government of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Was there, and said how there is no horse culture in Rajasthan.” -Trading.”

He said, “Replying to this, I said that Vasundhara Raje ji also did not believe in horse-trading. She herself did not say this to me, but her MLAs suggested so when they met me.”

He said, “That comment was twisted to claim that I gave him credit for saving my government during the 2020 insurgency. People in his party tried to make it an issue against him.”

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje last month and two other BJP leaders played a role in saving her government during the 2020 rebellion by her party’s MLAs led by Mr Pilot.
