Atiq’s lawyer said on Ashraf’s viral letter – it is fake: the original envelope can reach the court, said – the name will be revealed if there is a murder

A letter is going viral on social media. It is being told that this letter was written by gangster Atiq’s brother Ashraf before his murder. Shaista Parveen’s name is also there in this. Bhaskar contacted Atiq Ahmed’s lawyer Vijay Mishra on this viral letter. On this he says that it is a fake letter. The original letter can reach the High Court and the Chief Minister.

Before the murder, when Ashraf was being brought to Prayagraj on March 28, he had said that he was threatened by an officer. It was said that after two weeks Ashraf would be exonerated and “dealt with”.

Ashraf had pointed towards his murder. He said that- If I am killed, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court and the Chief Minister will receive my sealed envelope. It will contain the name of the officer who has threatened to kill me.

Bhaskar talked to Vijay Mishra only to know the reality of this letter. Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen raised questions about his surrender, Atiq’s family.

Ashraf and Shaista Parveen’s letter went viral on social media first.

This letter is going viral in the name of Ashraf and Shaista Parveen. It is being claimed on social media that this is the same letter which was mentioned by Ashraf.

Question: What is Ashraf’s envelope, what is its truth?

answer: When I went to meet Ashraf in Bareilly Jail, I asked him about the letter. On this, he told that the thing about the envelope is correct. Ashraf had told that on March 28, when he was being taken from Prayagraj to Bareilly Jail, he was stopped at the police lines on the way. Here a police officer had told him that this time you have been saved, but within 15 days you will be taken out of jail and ‘dealt’ with.

Question: Which officer’s name is in the letter?

answer: He had definitely mentioned about the letter, but did not tell where the letter is and with whom it has been kept? Yes, it was said that if any incident happens to me or I am killed, then this letter will definitely be sent. On asking my name, Ashraf said that he will not tell the name of that officer, because you are my lawyer, telling the name can cause problems for you. But if I am killed, the letter in the envelope will be sent to the Chief Justice of India and the Chief Justice of the High Court, Allahabad.

Question: Where is that letter?

answer: I was not informed about the whereabouts of the letter and with whom it was kept. Yes, it was definitely said that if any incident happens, the letter will definitely reach.

Question: Has the letter been sent to anyone?

answer: No, as of now I am not aware, but it is possible that the letter will reach in future.

Question: A letter is going viral on social media, which has been sent to CM, CJI, what is that?

answer: I have no idea about that letter. Before the incident, Shaista Parveen had written a letter to CM Yogi Adityanath. He had said that injustice is being done to me and my family, give justice.

answer: The letter which is going viral in the media has nothing to do with reality. As I saw it, but it is not Ashraf’s letter. There is an application from a court in it. He is being manipulated and run.

Question: How can we tell that the wrong letter is going viral?

answer: Whenever we file an application in the court, no one’s name appears in it. In what is being made viral, the name of the officer has also been inserted, which is absolutely wrong.

Question: Ateeq-Ashraf were murdered publicly. What will you guys do now?

answer: Ateeq-Ashraf were murdered in the name of medical examination at Colvin Hospital. This murder happened because of a huge lapse in police security. It will be a long battle. We are having a meeting with a panel of senior advocates. It is being decided in what manner the legal battle can be fought. In future, we will also go to the Supreme Court regarding this whole matter.

Question: PIL has also been filed in the Supreme Court. Who has filed this?

answer: A PIPL has been filed in the Supreme Court, but I do not know who has filed it.

Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen is absconding since a day after the Umesh murder. The police has declared a reward of 50 thousand on him.

Question: Where is Shaista Parveen? Was there any contact?

answer: There is no contact with Shaista Parveen. When Asad’s encounter took place, attempts were made to contact Shaista Parveen to attend Asad’s funeral. When the husband and brother-in-law were killed, even after that the message was conveyed to them through the media, but till now they have not been contacted. I don’t even know where he is.

Question: Atiq’s whole family is Darbadar. Will you go to court regarding this?

answer: It is a matter of court and post-court, as the house of Ateeq Ahmed and Ashraf was also razed. The houses of Ashraf and his family and in-laws were also demolished. Some are staying at some relative’s house. Somebody is staying at somebody’s place. When the situation is normal then maybe everyone can live together. When you come out from the feeling of security, then you can talk.

Question: Atiq’s two sons are in jail. Can they get relief?

answer: This is a matter of court. Nothing can be said on when the muscle is.

Question: You are also in danger of life. Will you take any action regarding this?

answer: I am worried about the safety of myself and my family members. The family members also often say that you are Atiq Ahmed’s lawyer. Fighting the case. You are also at risk. This whole matter will be taken up in the court. We will take care of whatever the court orders.
