A popular Australian influencer is being slammed after revealing in a recent episode of his podcast that he killed two cats as a child, new york post informed of. Blogger and Instagram model Emma Claire, 28, shared the bizarre confession on the latest episode of her Simply Chaotic podcast.

Speaking on Simply Chaotic, she said, “I killed my cat… my sister didn’t talk to me for months and my mother was mad at me, and yes, I killed her.” I was walking my cat around. Like, I was thinking it was just a stuffed toy. And I accidentally let it go. And then, if you really want to know more about me, I killed my best friend’s cat too.”

His comments sparked an immediate outcry, prompting him to issue an initial statement in which he called his comments “a bit of light humour”.

He wrote, “For those who have been offended by my story, in today’s simple chaotic episode I just shared… It happened 21 years ago. I was a little kid… accidents happen and you all need to stay calm. I hope you are not the same person you were when you were nine and I can confirm that since that accident I have become a mother to several cats including my baby Fred.

However, people didn’t agree with her apology, forcing her to put out another statement on her Instagram stories.

Her statement read, ‘Hi guys, I want to jump in here and first of all apologize for the story described in the first episode. I am well aware that the story was not meant to be light humor and was very serious in fact. It was not intended to come out the way it did because it was just a story from the past about an accident I had as a young child but I can see how it came out. I have taken time to think about my actions and want to confirm that I am sympathetic about the situation and it is not something I am proud of as it really hurt me and my family 21 years ago Was delivered.

She concluded, “I am a loving person for all things cat and have been the most amazing cat mommy to many cats and dogs ever since. I am also now a loving mommy of a young child and of course that nine year old.” I have grown up from a small child.

Shortly after her confession, cosmetic brand MCoBeauty severed ties with her and announced they were dropping her as an ambassador.

The company said, ‘It has come to our attention that Emma Claire recently aired a story on her podcast discussing an incident of animal cruelty from her childhood. We were disappointed by this story, and will not be working with Emma again [the] Future. Here at MCoBeauty, we take incidents like this very seriously and don’t condone any form of animal cruelty.

Several other brands also announced that they would no longer be associated with him.
