1. Violence again in Manipur after 18 days, CM said – will ask for 20 more companies of security forces from the Center
Fire brigade dousing the fire that broke out at New Lambulen market in Imphal.
Violence broke out again in Manipur after 18 days. A fight broke out between the Meitei and Kuki communities over a place in a local market in the capital Imphal. After this, the miscreants set fire to the vacant houses. Army has been deployed here since the incident, as well as curfew has been imposed in the city.
On the other hand, the police have arrested 3 miscreants, weapons have been recovered from them. Told CM N Biren Singh, ’20 more companies of security forces will be sought from the central government.’ More than 10,000 people have fled due to violence in the state. 2. RBI-SBI guidelines challenged in court; PM Modi was not in favor of 2000 note
The guidelines of RBI and SBI have been challenged in the Delhi High Court, in which it was said that no ID or form would be required to exchange 2000 notes. It is argued that by applying ID, those people can be easily identified, who have black money, black money or disproportionate assets.
At the same time, Nripendra Mishra, who was the Principal Secretary to PM Modi during demonetisation, says that the Prime Minister was not in favor of Rs 2000 note. 3. Congress supports AAP against ordinance, Nitish persuades Kharge and Rahul

4. Wrestlers accept Brijbhushan’s challenge of narco test, candle march at Jantar Mantar today

5. PM Modi arrives in Australia, will address 20,000 people of Indian origin in Sydney
