Banners Ban Bjp Workers In Chhota Udepur | Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: Members of Kshatriya community in Jabugam near Bodeli in Chhota Udepur district on Saturday put up banners prohibiting the entry of BJP workers and leaders into the village. They even held demonstrations in the village marketplace against Rajkot BJP candidate Parshottam Rupala.
Some villages in Chhota Udepur district have Kshatriya residents.
Devendrasinh Chavda, a member of the executive committee of the Samast Bodeli Taluka Rajput Samaj, said that the movement was spreading to other areas in the state. “Our population may not be very high, but residents of Jabugam will support our move,” he said.
In Vadodara, women from the Saurashtra-Kutch Rajput Association wrote post-cards to the prime minister appealing him to cancel Rupala’s ticket. Earlier, members of the community held demonstrations against Rupala in the city.
The Panchmahal District Kshatriya Rajput Asmita Manch organised a gathering in Godhra. Speakers demanded that the BJP drop Rupala as a candidate.
