Jaisalmer: The video of two 14-year-old girls playing cricket in Sherpura Kanasar village of Sheo police station area of Barmer district has gone viral.
Responding to the video, Sachin Tendulkar Tweeted, “The auction happened only yesterday.. and today’s match has also started? What is the matter. Really enjoyed your batting. In the video, the teenager, identified as Class VIII student Mumal Mehar, is seen hitting four sixes. His father Mathar Khan is a farmer. Currently, she is being trained by her teacher Roshan Khan. When she is not playing cricket, she is busy with household chores along with her mother, besides taking cattle for grazing.
Moomal said that he saw the batting of the cricketer Surya Kumar and tried to emulate him.
His cousin Anisa loves cricket and gives him tips. She and Anisa have played together in the Rural Olympics. Whenever she gets a chance, she plays cricket in the playground outside the school. Moomal said that she started playing cricket with Anisa when she was 9 years old. When Anisha was selected in the Under-19 Rajasthan team, her interest increased further. news network
